With the January transfer windows nearing, here are 4 players Chelsea should consider signing:

1) Maxi Gomez
With our strikers under-performing week in week out, Chelsea are in desperate need of a proper number nine. One good option for the Blues is the Uruguayan forward from Celta Vigo. The 6'1 tall striker has formed a formidable duo with Spanish forward Iago Aspas. He has 38 goal contributions in 49 league appearances since joining Celta at the start of last season. He is very good at holding up the ball and shrugging off defenders and his finishing has earned him comparisons to his idol and compatriot Luis Suarez. He is good in the air but is also good with the ball at his feet.
Transfermarkt value: €35 million.

2) Suso
Suso is a name that has been brought up quite a lot, but not as much as some less convincing players such as Christian Pulisic. The Spaniard from AC Milan is a technically-gifted player with silky dribbling. He had 22 goal contributions last season despite not having much help from fellow forwards at the Italian club. But the ex Liverpool winger has already picked up 5 goals and 8 assists this season with the arrival of Gonzalo Higuain. If Chelsea can get a clinical striker to replace Morata, Suso would be racking up the numbers under Sarri.
Transfermarkt value: €40 million.

3) Alessio Romagnoli
Skriniar this, Koulibaly that. These two have been the most talked about centre backs from the Serie A this season. But one player who is having a fantastic season but has gone under the radar is Milan captain Alessio Romagnoli. He is a strong tackler, very good in the air and is also a good distributor of the ball. He is tailor-made for Sarri's system. He is a great leader, which is evident with Milan making him their captain at such a young age. With Luiz no longer good enough for the top level, and Christensen not being able to impress when given a chance, going for Romagnoli would be great business for the Blues as he would form one of Europe's most formidable defensive partnerships with Antonio Rudiger, with the two perfectly complementing each other.
Transfermarkt value: €40 million.

4) Alex Telles
The Brazilian left-back from Porto is a highly rated prospect and has proven himself to be a top level fullback over the course of the past two seasons. Telles is a highly skilled dribbler with a good passing range. He is a very good crosser, something Chelsea lack at the full-back position. He had 20 goal contributions last season in all competitions for Porto as the team in blue won the league last season. Getting Telles would be a great coup for Chelsea as it would mean we have a great left back for years to come.
Transfermarkt value: €25 million.
